Hello Brian,
I have been going through papers and trying to sort out the BULMER information. I had stored it away as I haven't found anyone researching BULMER or BICKERDIKE connections in same areas as me. I have found one piece which I am going to type from a letter which my late father -in-law Stanley received from Edward and Alice BULMER. I don't know what year it was because the top of the letter is missing. I can only presume it is about 1973, because Edward was born in 1893.

We are keeping very nicely for two eighty year olds. Alice was 80 on Christmas Day and of Dec 30 we had our 57th Wedding Anniversary when Gerald and Greta were here and took us to Bishopthorpe Church for their family Commumion Service at 10.15 am.
