I cannot find a Christening for Ann...
There appears to be no children to this first marriage.
A20442-2 B 20 family records of William/Buttle and his son Bishop Joseph Acomb/Buttle
Archer's second name could be Dimia, but looks more like Dinnia See 1871 Census image
On the 1901 CEnsus he is listed as Archibald L D Buttle aged 32, and unmarried
In the birth registration, Ernest's middle name is given as Lintorn, and no Linton
May the y ahve been married quite a bit before William came along in 1731....

There is an Enos Briggs Parkin born in the 3rd Quarter 1871 at Howden, is he a relation? He could be, if after THomas :Lolley married Enos's Mother, he got rid of the name Briggs and took upon him Lolley, as in the 1881 Census, or rather did Thomas Lolley get rid of the Briggs, and give him his surname for a Middle name??
Joseph was a Solicitor's Clerk.
There is a Joseph Mitchell son of Joseph Mitchell and Hannah Chr 25 Jul 1839 at Selby. I am wondering if the marriage certificate of Joseph to his wife said 'of full age' on it, which would explain why I have assumed 21 years of age. It hence could be greater, which might then fit with the christening above.I think the census extract below is for this couple, but I cannot be certain just yet. Though there is a Christening in Selby in 1839, which would fit the census very well, yet, if he is from York, is there a suitable Christening in York??
No, not with a father also called Joseph...and when you specify no Father's name, there are still none in York....So is he the right person?? It seems the right person. But why did he say he was born in York, if he was not christened there (though this does not mean to say that this scenario cannot be true). From the 1881 Census:
