They were living at 290 Burton Stone Lane, York in 1940 according to the electoral rolls. There was also a Dorothy England living with them

!Did they have a son called John Edward England? if so, he was born about 1918, and died 27 Feb 1999.
He has a wife called Mary, and a son called Shane. His obituary also stated that he was a Brother and Uncle, and that he formerley worked for BREL and lived in Flaxley Rd, Selby at the time of his death.

Just a note about a possible relatice: John Henry Durham, husband of Alice Ann who died 29 sep 1929 aged 47. Alice Ann died 21 may 1946, aged 61. These were buried at Hemingbrough. Also Herbert, son of the above died 12 Feb 1938 aged 26.

Did Susannah have a daughter called Susannah who had an illegitimate girl called Harriet Lolley, who was Christened 10 Jan 1841?
