JACOB WISMER BULMER (Sr)--One of 11 children of Henry Bulmer and Susan Kaylor. Born in 1873 in Stayner, ON. Died Mar 13, 1930 Bassano, Alta. Married to Lilian (one l) Camp Apr 12,1908, Pasco, WA...On my father's birth cert he was listed as Line Boss on Seattle Pipeline construction. Jacob and Lilian had one son, Jacob Wismer Bulmer (Jr) born Feb 2, 1909 in Renton, WA now part of Seattle. The Bulmers moved to Bassano, Alta in 1910 where Jacob,Sr was foreman on construction of the Bassano Dam (part of large irrigation project in S Alta. When dam was completed, the family stayed in Bassano where Jacob Sr opened a small grocery and confectionery in Queen's Hotel bldg. When hotel burned down, the business was moved and operated as confectionery and ice cream parlor. From 1901 Census: Earned $540. as merchant in 6 months.
LILIAN CAMP--Married Jacob Wismer Bulmer Apr 12, 1908 Pasco, WA, and had one son, Jacob Wismer Bulmer, Jr. Lilian was born in 1887, in Illinois, to Mary Westa Camp (nee Rupert--b Nov 27, 1848) and Martin Camp. Her parents married in 1867, and Lilian was one of 11 children, two of whom died in infancy. Lilian's mother moved west to Washtucna, WA abt 1904 and died in Rosalia, WA on Jan 5, 1920. I have no record of deathdate of Martin Camp. After death of husband, Jacob, Lilian remarried. Her second husband, Richard "Dick" Bond, was a judge in Hanna, Alta, and later became Judge of the Juvenile Court in Calgary. He died in Calgary in Nov, 1947, and Lilian died in Calgary in Oct, 1948. Dick Bond had a son, Richard, from a previous marriage.

Earlier data showed1866. Survived by wife, 3 stepsons, 2 daughters. George lived in Edmonton for 40 years. Abt 1929-30 George in charge of barns where "heavy" horses (milk delivery) were stabled. (Info from Charlie & Agnes Bulmer). Mary Ann's year of birth is derived from stone in Beechmount Cemetery.

Charlotte's parents, Joseph & Charlotte Geddes listed 1891 & 1901 Sunnidale Censuses. Buried in Angus Union Cem, NW cnr Lot 29 Con 3, Essa Twp, Simcoe Co: Charlotte Geddes, w/o Joseph Middlebrook. She died 27 Jul 1910; Joseph died Mar 1915.
