The only person on the IGI who fits in anwhere is christened 31 Jul 1814 at St Nicholas, Liverpool. His father is Henry Harker as is stated on his wedding certificate, and his mother is Ann. However, I do need to check to see how much of the parish of Coxwold has been extracted by the church, before I can write of this.
Ultimately, I need to see this couple on the 1841 Census, and also the 1851 Census.
It would also be useful to see Henry Harker and Agnes Hood on the 1871 Census shortly after they were married, to see what might be said there of his origins.
This Henry was previously married, though I do not yet know who too.
Could this Jane be the one who married Henry Harker at Coxwold 12 Dec 1840. And if so were these two the parents of Henry Harker Who married Annie McEwan, who are my Wife's Great Great Great Grandparents??
On the IGI, this is the only Jane Salmon born in Coxwold anywhere near enough the time span needed to fit her in to this marriage. Hence it seems reasonable to say that she did marry A Henry Harker. I am not yet certain that she married my wife's 3*great Grandfather!
I have just found two possible Christenings for Thomas:
Birth 17 Jan 1661 at Coxwold, son of Michael Nicholson. and Frances Pickring married 1656 at St Micahel New Malton.
or
Christening 28 dec 1661 at coxwold, son of Richard Nicholson. and Janet Cairt who married 27 feb 1660 at Coxwold.
soneone has done Richard's work as abt 1636 of coxwold, on account of his marriage to Janet. The parish of Coxwold goes back to 1583, but there are no christenings of any richards in Coxwold back to 1605.
Which is the correct one?
